| Heard a friend sold some five weight steers for close to two grand last week. Haven't confirmed that yet but small bred cow sale yesterday had solid mouth cows 8 months bred for about the same money or even less. Bought about all the good to decent quality hay I could find a place to stack for $70-$90 a ton at auction. When have you ever seen that scenario? Mixed enthusiasm for the cow deal. Wish I was twenty or thirty years younger. | |
