This is one of a thousand reasons why most shops won't install customer supplied parts. I can tell you have no desire to screw them over and I commend you for wanting to pay your debts. Things tend to go much smoother when the shop does and supplies everything and if something goes wrong, who is at fault is pretty clear.
Talk to people in other trades and it's all the same. Everyone prefers it when the customer simply states what the issue is and gets out of the way.
And the worst thing a customer can say is, “Well,um, I read on the internet and think this is what you need to do” then hover over them while they do their job |
