| Our local shop labor is $200.00 per hr and extra for on the farm plus service truck fee and misc. The mechanics I know don't like to be told how to fix things and like to get their own parts. You state that they are close to your farm so my advice is to pay all of it as you might need them in the future and you will be on the bottom of the list to get repairs done. Most likely was just a misunderstanding from the beginning. Good luck. | |
