| What is “Covid pay”? Are you suggesting that it is some sort of state or federal payment paid out to the employees? Or is it some kind of retention bonus paid out by the company?
I have a clinic in Minnesota and there were never any programs for us where we ( the employer) applied for funds that would have paid anything out directly to the employees. There were several Covid relief program that made payments to the eligible employees, however the employees had to personally apply for such and the payments went directly to the employee. It was up to the employees to make the application.
You need to figure out the criteria for what you are calling Covid pay to determine if she is actually eligible before you make any judgements.
