But I'm more disappointed to hear that the govt is still doling out Covid money. Come on man!
There's a local big farmer/grain elevator owner/bank owner here that I tracked when the public records came out on PPP and EIDL (or whatever that was called). I could see where he had collected over $2.5 million. I know some of his employees pretty well............and none of them got any increase in pay. And business continued on like normal. I never understood that at all.
It was after seeing that I went ahead and at least applied once for the PPP. I didn't like it............but everybody around me was dong it............and those like him were pulling in BIG BUCKS. I had the chance then to do another PPP but just decided to heck with it and didn't apply. | |
