Are you saying that the previous employer did not pay covid pay to employees, and now the new employer is paying it out to those who worked during that time period, but retroactively? If that is the case, I could possibly see your point, but seems odd to me that the old employer sat on a sum of covid money and handed it over to the new employer to be dispersed.
But if the new employer is paying it NOW, to current employees, then no. | |
