If so, may be eye opening

Let farmers chose their own CRP acres all over portions of fields. Unproductive land and creek areas wouldn't be farmed. CRP acres could range from 1-20 on an 80 or a quarter. But it's not about clean water for these people. If it was, the city of Omaha would stop dumping raw sewage into the Missouri river every time it rains and the city of Des Moines wouldn't be dumping raw nitrate into the raccoon river
Farmers can choose any acre they want to not farm, why does it have to be CRP? If an acre or several acres is prone to erosion, drown out, is rocky/sandy, and unproductive the farmer should have the sense to retire that acre or acres from production. CRP has nothing to do with it.
