Somewhere along the way, somebody said look, measuring our grain by volume is kind of a pain, let’s weigh a bushel of this grain and that grain and we’ll establish a standard weight for the volume. Apparently the bushel of oats the weighed 32#. Now we can put 32# of oats in a much smaller area than the volume of oats that they weighed to establish the sale able weight.
Help me understand this bushel question
