A bushel is absolutely NOT a unit of volume when buying and selling standardized grain amounts. A bushel of corn is 56 lbs(no volume attachment at all). A bushel of oats is 32lbs(once again no attachment to any volume measurement). So you got a little over 30,800lbs of corn and a little over 24,500lbs of oats. No volume involved at all.
