Subject: RE: Help me understand this bushel question

S Illinois
A bushel in the grain industry has no connection to volume. A bushel is a weight measurement. No more no less.

Edit: A bushel of corn is 56lbs of corn. Doesn’t matter how much volume it occupies. TW is the industry’s attempt at a quality measurement regarding density not a true volume conversion. It’s why no TW adjustment is made due to moisture content.
