Corn typically tests higher than its standard test weight. 61 lbs is a normal test weight here, so that's almost 10% more than standard. I dont know much about oats, but soybeans usually tests about 56 lbs here. The standard is 60 lbs. 56 is around 7 percent under the standard so you have a difference of more than 15% when you compare the same truck full of corn vs beans. That's why we struggle to put 1000 bushels of beans on a trailer, but can easily load 1150 bushels of corn.
