oakridge - 3/22/2024 06:51 How can that be? A bushel is 64 us pints. A bushel is a bushel is a bushel. Just a reminder, I'm not saying anyone is wrong. But technically by definition, my feed truck should hold the exact same volume bushel of oats, corn, apples, feathers, or gravel.

It does.

The difference is in "test weight".      You most likely had sub 56 lb/bushel corn and oats that were well over 32 lbs/bushel.

+1, the volume was the same. a load of feathers most likely with the same volume would be lighter as long as no one tried to re-wet with a water hose.
