SC MN | It definitely depends on your teeth. I got once a year. My dentist (both the retired one and the new one in the same office) says once is good for me. But I have very clean teeth and the only issue is the potential for gum disease in the future. Typically if you don't have a lot of tartar on your teeth it can be a gum disease issue later in life. I'm 38 and never had a cavity or any issues with my teeth. Went to dentist every 6 months until about 23 years old then started going once due to no dental insurance. I have asked my dentist to please not do X-rays every time so I go for cleaning once a year and X-rays every other time. I do brush two times a day and floss after every meal so no issues with bleeding gums or anything. | |
