I'm 64 yes old
I brush teeth every morning. Also nightly b4 bed maybe 4x a week. Floss 3-4 times a week too

I go once a year to dentist. Checkup and cleaning. No cavities for years. Very minimal tartar they tell me.
I believe daily maintenance is key
