Subject: Cant weld worth a crap

Central, IL

OK my welds probably are not that bad but I want them to look like the pros. Checked into a few schools but all were 6 to 12 week courses. Dont have the time to do that. Just need a few tips and techniques and I can practice from there. What would be a good welder for all around jobs? I have a Miller stick right now and some 6011 and 6013 rods. Want to get better so I can eventually start repairing,modifying, and designing my own equipment.
