Consider using the Hi Cal lime at a rate where the money will be the same.
Acid soils are a mastery to me, but I would think a pH of 6 will work and you only need enough lime, calcium, to keep the plant calcium levels in the sufficient range.

IMHO, soil test are subject to large errors, called normal variation. The plant will tell you what is limiting production. What most people do not like is tissue testing id for next seasons fertility program. Most owners or growers do not plan that far ahead.
