Central ND | We didn't have twins, but all three of our kids spent at least 10 days in the NICU, one spent 40. All c-sections. I spent the full 10 days with the wife for the first one. After a week with the second, I took my 2 year old in the truck with me. We knew she was going to be in there for a while, weren't expecting over a month. The third, I spent the full 10 days, then after we got back home I went back to work. Right or wrong, bills need to get paid and we have a pretty close group of friends that helped where they could. I'm sure there are a whole bunch of opinions on this, all I can say is it sounds like you have a business to run, hopefully the MIL is a awesome new grandma who can help take some pressure off. | |
