| First of all, congratulations on the upcoming births. So exciting. I had three single birth c-sections. My incisions were verticle (I don't know if that makes a difference) usually with twins, they are lower birth weights and I am shocked that her doctor is telling her she can't lift the babies. I had no problem. My kids are now over 40 years old, and my last baby after being in the hospital for a week (they did that back then) by the third night I was home my son slept through the night. That was the best thing when mom can get a full night sleep. I still remember, I was mowing the lawn with the riding mower when he was only two weeks old.
