Swaledale, IA | As long as the births go fine and both are healthy it is up to you. I farmed and ran a restaurant and was back at bar/restaurant that evening to celebrate and take care of things. There is no reason to have to take time off for babies, you just deal with the extras and do the best you can.
P>S> My Dad had oats combined and baled hay the day my sister was born, she was born that evening, and I am sure he was back doing chores the next morning and the kid and everyone else was fine.
