Can't comment here on twins (just my husband is one), or c-sections either for that matter. But please be sure to double check with the Dr on the not out of bed for 7-10 days part of this plan. After a major surgery, it's generally advised to be up walking as soon as possible to prevent blood clots and pneumonia. Just be sure that's what the Dr is specifically recommending, so your wife has as few problems as possible. 
It might be good to meet with all the folks involved with the grain processing and make clear that they may need to step up for a bit so that you can do what ya need to do for your family. Most people are more than willing to go the extra mile when they're asked to, and it's for such special and blessed reason.
