At the time some of highest land in Mn and very close to Illinois land values. maybe somebody from Illinois can chime in what they seen as their high values in 1980’s before the crash? Martin county Mn had some of highest pre crash values here. A lot of the bankers here that are now retirement age started as loan officers for farm credit nd never forgot. If your calculations are right that would be in mid range of good land here today. Recent values on 90 plus cpi land would be 14000 to 10500. A lot of that early 80’s land was on floating interest rates which compounded the problem.
