A few years ago I was with my brother traveling thru Amish country Ohio. Came up on a group of young women on a country road. I commented to my brother that there wasn’t a fat one in the group. He said that someone had done research & stated that the average Amish person walked 17 miles a day.
The only fat ones I ever remember seeing were older women who likely spent most of their time in the house
