Virginia
It's the diet we have. Our western diet is killing us all
Eat plenty of meat and vegetables and fruit. The fruit and vegetables are high in fiber and the high fiber slows down the way we metabolize the food, preventing insulin spikes.
Don't eat processed food except jerky, cured meats etc.
Drink all the water and unsweetened drinks you can hold
Cook only with olive oil and butter
Eat more protein and less carbs
And I eat one meal per day.
I've lost 110 pounds last few years doing what I just said
I average around 3k calories per day and I eat this way
The last 8-9 months I have been doing some fasting.
That really kick starts your metabolism.
I ate supper tonight at 6 and it was the 1st thing I ate since Sunday at 6.
A 48 hr fast is awesome. The feeling and mental clarity is a really good feeling.
I try to do this once a week or every 2 weeks. For anyone interested in fasting in my opinion the 18-20 hr mark is the hardest. After that your not really hungry.
