I thought about using my sidedress bar pre plant but I don't think I can get the fertilizer down deep enough with my coulter to avoid putting the seed right in the band of fert even if i try and seed between bands im sure it will burn some. maybe I'm over thinking it and would be fine but its 130 acres and i only farm 600 acres so so I'm trying to avoid a costly mistake.

Would second the thought of not putting P or K down since one year deal. “Here” I would kill the rye asap and knife in nh3
