If going back to crp, why not just plant beans again?  

There maybe different than here but i wouldn't want corn into rye.  If you have to go to rye get it killed yesterday.  

One year deal just skip everything but N and put the N down with the applicator, ie, get the N in the ground.   Do you have to side dress?  If so, put half down up front and hire a plane for the rest, or just put extra down up front and live with whatever you get and move on.  

If you have to plant corn and no other option, i'd put a heavy rate of N down with the applicator and plant.
