What is the landlords reason for no NH3? One year deal just use it anyway, if thats what works best for you. Why were you selected to farm it? You use NH3 but being told not to, lots of other farmers don't use NH3 they could have chosen to farm it. Kind of like renting land to a no-till chemical user and telling them that no chemicals are allowed and that it has to be plowed.

Why does landlord want corn? Planting native grass is easier and works better after soybeans.

One year deal and going to crp, soil test to make sure there is a benefit to applying any fertilizer.

For establishing native grass less nitrogen in the soil makes it easier to establish, as weeds benefit a lot more from fertilizer than native grass.
