Thanks for the info.

We are cleaning inside fertilizer tanks this week, but we are getting ready for our Wheat stuble run of chicken litter.  Have a egg laying barn and we spread the litter from it on our customer fields.  Run around 4000 to 5000 acres every spring and fall.  Farmers love it!! Wish we had more.

We are working on strip till and are tring to find a why to get that litter in a strip till program, but 2 to 2.5 ton an acre is hard to handle that way.

Just curious, do you spread or hired?  We run 2 Knight side slingers on floater trucks and run 3 side dumps with a loader in the barn and one in the field. The litter we get is most of the time pretty wet in the spring and sometimes in the fall we will run Chanlder spinners on terragators if the litter gets too dry.
