I agree that biggest change in the next 10 years is the amount of farmland that will change hands but alot of farmland is also going to be lost due to urbanization(new housing developments, commercial zoning and yes even more golf courses). Alot of land that can be cleared and put into productive farmland has been done and I see the urbanization taking away more land than what is going to be cleared from now on.
On another note, ethanol plants are making huge profits right now and once ethanol is mandatory in fuel then the price of ethanol will go itself so they could pay more for corn.
