Another thought would be buying small groups of small calves say 200-300lbs that larger feedlots dont want to mess with and getting em started good and selling em in larger groups at say 600lbs or so.
Im doing sheep on drylot. Havent been in it long enough to know how itll work out for me longterm but lots of successful operations around
