We marketed 35 for freezer beef and have 4 in the freezers waiting for summer farmers market.
Out of those in our freezer we started selling to a local food truck, she sells smash burgers, auctions and festivals, sets up at random places in local small towns. Gets 6 burgers out of a pound sells them for $3.50 each we get $6.00# she goes through about 50# a week. Likely we will run out of burger before we butcher in august.
Point is there is plenty of money to be made off of our hard work with little more effort and creativity | |
