That theory requires assuming a multinational corporation wouldn't just lobby for increased imports from their homeland in order to spread the margin back to where they want it. When/if US beef becomes unaffordable for low end usage the language they use will suddenly read as a need and not a want. At that point, if you're not already tapped into the premium or discretionary income markets, you're done.
