I have considered the 5-10 acre pieces. That’s an option and it would work.
My only reservation is my calving and breeding season. With cows all over the place I’d be forced to switch to fall calving so that I am breeding during the winter, when cows are all together on stalks. But then I’ve also gotta deal with calves on stalks which is also not ideal with 1 or 2 wire temporary fencing.
