Thanks for the advice.

Hope you don't mind if I continue to read & question farming methods...including our own? I have absolutely no doubt that everything we do is not correct nor the only way. Stripping isn't new here either. Did I summarize Gary's links OK? 

GW-are you sure you've increased your bottom line by $5K...or have you just reduced your costs? I have no accounting skills-I'll admit. We don't usually know our bottom line 'til all crop is marketed. You do have a better idea once all crop is harvested however.
