| That's a possibility for jobs that don't require much of a skill set and are not very repetitive. I'd guess everything that can go overseas has done so. Do you ever call tech support and struggle to understand the support person? I think there has been some push back on the phone support deal.
Also, AI can do some things, but the marketing has way overhyped it's usefulness (no surprise there). It will be used where a robot could work. Do you ever do a search and end up on a robot generated page? ie: you're looking up fuel injectors and the search takes you to a page that says "injectors are good and key part to any engine...." Someone thinks this is helpful but it may sell a little advertising (perhaps the only useful thing on the page). As always it's GIGO (garbage in garbage out). The folks coding AI algorithms apparently are not the most trustworthy (ie. gemini, etc.). | |
