| I don’t know anything specific. Just that bank had a lot of exposure to nyc real estate used for business offices. Prbly alot more complicated than that.
What I don’t get is why they don’t start turning those office buildings into apartments,( if that’s the real problem-everyone working from home) Nothing my generation loves more than to rent an over priced apartment in the heart of a big city
As a side note I think I saw someone asking “why would anyone being writing puts on nycb? “ which sort of implies someone WAS writing puts which could seem counterintuitive being as it’s going down but if I recall correctly, ALL options become worthless when a company gets delisted
