I am not sure how we as farmers insure our noise, complaints, smells, fodder, weed seed stay only on our properties.

We don’t. But the neighbors cows don’t complain about smells or blowing stalks, wedding guests do. That’s why the cows aren’t a conditional use and guests are. The knife does not cut both ways.
