West central IL
Do you hire the dessication done or do yourself? Harvest is when I need the most labor and don’t have a guy I could spare. I’m generally harvesting corn, switch to beans late sept, and then back to finishing corn in October. Do you have a preferred chemical, and an idea on cost?

Does desiccation turn those butter beans quickly? How many days until it does so?

Around here myself and seemingly my neighbors just wait until most of the leaves have dropped. Since fungicide became widespread the main issue is some few spots where there’s a few green leaves, but the main issue being yellow leaves down low between the rows.
