If you look on the drone talk page, I think you will find some posts by a guy named slough (no pun intended). He’s in southern Missouri and I believe he flies on gramoxone for defoliant.
Years ago when we grew seed beans we always tried to harvest above 13%, but it usually worked best if they were rewetted by a rain to be uniform. Last fall was a brutal example how that doesn’t work when it stays hot and dry.
With 1000 acres it’s probably not feasible to cut earlier in the morning then switch to corn late morning. I think we may try dessicating with our new drone.
