We used to hire planes to do it but they won’t come anywhere near anything with any kind of desication chemical on board , do a terrible job but I don’t blame them if I was up there doing 165 mph spraying I wouldn’t get close to anything either , our beans are 100 percent furrow irrigated so very thick and too thick to even think about a ground rig , one of biggest reasons we bought our spray drone was for soybean desication, there are several labeled chemicals for it , large cotton area here and since I have been old enough to look around cotton is a crop that gets two defoliants trips per fall season , so doing beans is kind of natural for us
