Numbers I used were from UNL. Use whichever source you’d like, not saying UNL is correct.
If you’re harvesting 10% soybeans you’re leaving 5 on the ground from head loss. There’s articles on how you can look for that to check when you’re cutting. Hula hoop etc.
Answer is, if you can’t justify 48,000$ on a second combine, then don’t do it.
Every year is different and Mother Nature trumps all plans.
