Ya you’re wrong. And not even close.

Edit on numbers:
It’s 4.4% yield loss on 10% moisture beans. Just from moisture. 70*4.4%= 3 bu. * $12 = $36

Let’s say if ya got 1,000 acres 500 of it is picked at 10%. = $18,000.

Remember this doesn’t count shatter. And when you get to 10% moisture it’s at least 5 bushel no matter how awesome you are or what head you own.
5*12= $60 $60*500= $30,000

More like $48,000 on 500 acres.

When we were cutting with someone else, we would leave 13% moisture beans because they were cutting too tough, to go cut 10% cuz then you could fly. Would come back and magically they would be 10 bu+ worse. Made me the biggest believer in getting my own stuff and doing my own.
