Much as I despise stirrators and would never invest anything to dry corn with them...    I have several times thought that soybean harvest might be easier with like a 36-42' bin with screws, something that would hold several hundred acres worth instead of the little 1970s bins with stirs all over the countryside.   15% beans, 9% beans, no matter just cut them all as fast as possible and mix them together.   Would be some help with the green pods and butter beans common in early season.   And if you wanted to set up for fans to run in high humidity to attempt brining super dry beans back up, at least you would have the means in place to not have worries about what expansion might do to the structure.
