Subject: Corn after corn,, getting rid of residue

Triplett / Brunswick MO / Brookfield

A friend and customer is planning on planting corn after corn on a farm he bought last winter. A local feedlot has put up pivots on the farm, and they will be putting on app 5" of lagoon water a year on his growing crop. Since he has the water and nutrients available at no cost, it makes sense to plant corn after corn. Usually in North central MO we wouldn't plant corn after corn.

How are you guys handling heavy residue ?
