In MO I would spring strip till corn on corn, possibly applying a bit of 10-34-0, or whatever soil tests suggest, starter fertilizer in the strip to get the plant going.

One of the keys to success in corn on corn starts at harvest the fall before. This fall harvest the existing crop as high as possible, I would not use knife rolls. try to leave the residue in the air rather than in a thick mat on the ground. I would also try to space your combine tires to run on the just-harvested rows and really work to keep grain carts out of the middles where you will be planting. Maybe put in unloading lanes.

Next spring come in and strip till between the rows driving on last years corn stalks. It works. Residue will break down over the summer under the canopy, especially with your 5" of lagoon manure. This works especially well with our Dawn strip till system. Here are a couple pictures of a similar corn on corn system in Iowa. Sounds like a great deal for both sides - feedlot and corn grower. Exciting.
