I eat crap from both sides, big guys walk all over me, and the small guys call me a BTO and look down their nose at me for being a 3rd generation man. (ya, i didnt start with nothing, what am I supposed to do, tell dad to keep it and go alone for no reason?) In the last decade I have watched our margins on rented ground dwindle to basically nothing. At the "going rate" for land rent, we are just spinning our wheels. Its a hard pill to swallow but I am giving up on playing the rental game. Work land you own, concentrate on paying your own mortgage and not someone else's. Going to seem like a step in the wrong direction, but majority of us spin our wheels renting and are too stubborn to quit. Build long term equity and wealth, not just cash flow. | |
