Eastern Nebraska | Will keep you in prayer.... been there done that and bought the t-shirt. One step at a time.... Keep in touch with your son any way that you need to... I watch my daughter's dad disappear from her life by his choice for 10 years and when he came back to be daddy she had no need for one... Your son will see one day and appreciate then the effort you made to be his dad...I can say to not treat your son like a guest when he is with you.... If you always let him do what he wants and isolate himself from you then he will always just be a guest... you will have to work harder than him at first but find the one thing that you can connect with on and go for it... Would be nice if it was the farm but you may have to work at that...... He needs to know that he is a part of your life and you are his dad not his best friend... My kids do chores... guest do not....Went through a couple of teenage years with my daughter being a guest in the house and it was no fun.... Just my thoughts on it...
