| I used to not like anti-lock brakes for the reasons you describe. But recently the newer vehicles we have gotten with them (excluding the Tesla) were quite good in all conditions.
The way the 2023 Odyssey was stopping when I was testing it, I don’t think I could have done better in a vehicle without antilock brakes. Not even sure I could have done as good as. It was simple just to smash the brakes as hard as I could and it did exactly what I would have wanted it to do on gravel.
I had previously thought our 2013 Odyssey was fine as well. Maybe not that good but not scary either.
I haven’t had issues like this with my 12 Expedition or 15 Silverado or 17 F250 or 19 F350 either. | |
