southern MN | I have been unhappy with the smart braking systems on pickups 20+ years ago. They do their own thing, and at times that doesn’t stop the vehicle. On ice snow packed roads I often head to the bare patches at intersections and have 2 wheels on pavement, 2 on the ice. And the pickup won’t stop, it puts all brakes to the most slipperiest wheel and just slides me right out into the middle of the intersection.
Growing up with dumb brakes and had to be a smarter driver, the new stuff often reacts the opposite of what I. Trying to do, and I just don’t like that.
Bummer on your deal. I’m guessing all the systems on that car really make for some different reactions from it.
