Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning.

Have you joined the smart-phone revolution yet? Mine gets occasional updates, in order to help keep hackers at bay, make things more convenient, enhance battery life, & etc. Now, I realize that the perception of some is that stuff made in the 40s, or 50s, or 60s was perfect, a realistic evaluation will reveal that wasn't the case. It all had flaws and could stand improvement. Same can be said for stuff being made today. It can all be made better, safer, or handier. Question then becomes the cost to improve it. A physical recall is un-handy and expensive. Just ask Ford, what they spent on recalls and warranty in the last year. You then might come to understand what Farley is realizing about software and OTA updates.
