Subject: RE: Sales by seed count = more expensive beans

Corn is bagged in 80K units for the most part, BUT it ius graded by size first. Look at the variability in corn sizes. You can have a 60lb bag and a 30lb bag of the same variety. Beans have as much or more variablity. I'm all for a discount schedule on large seeded lots, but lets not bag by seed count until we are ready to grade the seed by size which is not really needed at this point. My point is that selling by seed count is not going to improve the product because the counts will be the same as always, You will pay more to feel good because of all the packaging and inventory expense that will be added. In the end we lose.
